Why keep a garden journal?
A few lines a week add up to the most useful gardening book you will ever own: which tomato variety actually ripened before the first frost, when the squash bugs showed up, which bed flooded in May. Next spring you can plan from your own records instead of memory.
Privacy and backups
Your journal is stored only in this browser’s local storage. It is not uploaded anywhere, which also means clearing your browser data deletes it. Use Backup (JSON) now and then, and Restore to move it to another device. Export CSV opens in any spreadsheet.
Expected harvests
When you log a sowing or transplant of a crop from our list, the journal estimates a harvest window from typical days to maturity and shows it under “Coming up”.
